The health department will be coming on October 15th to administer flu shots to students who turned in a consent form! These forms are due on October 7th, if you are in need of a consent form please reach out to your child's teacher.

Parents of high schoolers,

Next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, October 5th-7th, we have the honor of hosting the region softball tournament. To accommodate this event, we are dismissing DRIVERS and WALKERS at 2:25 pm each of those days. Aftercare students, car riders, and bus riders will remain on campus under teacher supervision until 3:15 pm. Students who drive younger siblings can remain on campus or return to the student parking lot at 3:15; they do not need to check out younger siblings before dismissal. We are excited to display our Blazer hospitality to those schools in our region. Thank you for your cooperation and support of our student athletes.

Our Allied Healthcare students had a visit from Ms. Savannah Hughes, Phoebe Talent Acquisition Partner to learn about future career opportunities, how to develop their resumes, and the interview process.

Congratulations to our Homecoming Float winners! We appreciate the particpation from the school and community. Your efforts make wonderful memories for all of our students.

Bus Driver Needed!

Senior and Dual Enrollment Juniors took a trip to Tift County High School's Probe Fair last Monday. Instead of trying to contact colleges individually, they met with representatives from nearly 40 colleges, universities, technical colleges, and organizations all in one place. They had the opportunity to speak directly with college personnel, ask questions about admissions and scholarships, learn about programs and majors, and get information straight from the schools they may be considering.

Come out Thursday night to support our Lady Blazers and celebrate our seniors! Seniors will be acknowledged on the field at 5:45 before the first pitch at 6:00. GO BLAZERS!

The Essentials of Healthcare students toured the SRTC Healthcare programs from Radiology Technology and Medical Lab Technology to Vet Technology and more!

Our Allied Health students had the opportunity to assist with our annual blood drive yesterday. Some students even donated before working their shift! This hands-on experience allowed students to see healthcare in action while practicing professionalism, communication, teamwork, and service to others. We are proud of our students for stepping up and helping make a difference in our school and community!
