2008

Our Varsity Academic Team traveled to Dacula, Ga., and competed in the Georgia Academic Team Association State Tournament.  This competition  was held at Hebron Christian Academy on March 8, 2008.  There were nine schools competing for the Single A championship title.  Each school involved is a member of Georgia High School Association or has applied for membership.  We are proud to say that Baconton went undefeated throughout the tournament and scored over 1000 points to bring home the trophy.  We want to congratulate each member of the Varsity Team.  They have worked many years to accomplish this goal.

Our JV Academic Team also traveled to Dacula to compete in the GATA JV State Championship.  In their first state tournament competition they brought home a Fourth Place Trophy.  We are so proud of their accomplishments this year.  This team has worked very hard and are excited about their future.  We look forward to bringing home more Chamipionship trophies with this team!

We have a brand new middle school team that is off to a great academic team career.  They are exceptionally bright and love to compete.  They have already won a trophy this year competing in their very first middle school competition.  This team placed 3rd in the Blazer Bash held at Baconton.  We are so proud of this team and look forward to their future!
