November 26, 2007.
Dear Parents,
We hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. The feast we had was wonderful. Thank you to everyone! It is so hard to believe that Thanksgiving has come and gone and Christmas is around the corner.
We will be reviewing all of our letters, (A, B, C, D, F, H, L, M, O, P, R, S and T), all our shapes, colors and numbers 0-10. We will be talking about the five senses this week also.
We will be having our Polar Express Day on Friday, Dec. 14th. The students will be allowed to wear their pajamas to school and everyone can bring their favorite treat to share with the class. We will make hot chocolate and watch the movie the Polar Express. It is a very fun day.
We will be having parent-teacher conferences Dec. 17th- 19th between 1:00 and 4:00. Please be looking for the list that will give you your conference time to come home soon.
December 17th thru 19th will also be early release days. The students will get out at 1:00. THERE WILL BE NO AFTER SCHOOL CARE OR AFTERNOON BUSES ON THESE DAYS.
Literacy packs will go home today. Please send them back by this Thursday.
PTO will be this Thursday at 7:00- we hope to see you there.
Volunteer hours are due by December 3rd at 6:00 p.m.
We are asking that all jackets be navy blue or the school’s grey fleece. Students will not be allowed to wear sweaters, jackets, sweatshirts or fleeces inside that are not these colors.
Have a great week!
